Put your money where your feet are.
FitStakes turns your fitness goals into commitment contracts. Pledge your own money, let your watch verify the work — succeed and you're never charged; miss it and your stake goes to a charity you chose.
No pot. No opponents. No chance. This is the opposite of a betting app.
How it works
Three steps. Your effort decides everything.
Set your goal & pledge
Choose a goal — run 15 miles a week, hit 10k steps a day — and pledge $10–$500. We save your card, but charge nothing up front.
Your wearable verifies
We read the activity straight from Apple Health, Android Health Connect, or Strava. Only real sensor data counts — no photos, no honor system.
Succeed, or give back
Hit your goal and you pay nothing. Fall short and your pledge is donated to the charity you picked — routed directly, never held by us.
Built for three sides
Personal accountability, corporate wellness, and charitable impact — in one loop.
🏃 Individuals
Stake solo or with friends. A commitment contract that actually keeps you consistent — and turns a missed week into a gift to a cause you care about.
🏢 Companies
A CSR + wellness tool. Match employees' stakes so every success becomes a company donation — real engagement, measurable impact, clean tax reporting.
❤️ Charities
A high-intent donor pipeline, plus a training companion for runners chasing the milestones behind their marathon-bib fundraising.
Not a betting app.
There's no prize pool and nothing to win. You only ever risk your own money against your own goal, and every forfeit goes to a verified charity — never to another user, and never to us. It's a commitment device, not a wager.
Honest about fees
You always see exactly what you pledge.
If you fall short, your pledge is what's charged — and it's inclusive of fees. A small platform fee (3.5–5%) plus payment processing come out of the pledge, and the charity receives the remainder. We'll always show this before you commit: "your $50 pledge includes ~$4 in fees."
Corporate matches are donated in full, with no platform fee. Forfeited stakes are a structural philanthropic processing fee, not a personal tax-deductible donation.
